Example: When I heard through the grapevine that the PTR was open today… I rushed to the site to find out that it was a pukka rumour… unlike so many rumours that get tossed around about this game!

Example: Once the new changes to pet abilities hits, my poor faithful companion Fiddlesticks will become almost feckless. /sadface!

What’s this?  A new word of the week on a Wednesday?  Okay, so this is an unofficial word of the week, because it’s also an unofficial word.  But Tigerfeet and I are going to do what we can to make it a new popular gaming term!


\ee-man\, verb:
1. To intentionally attack a boss while alone or with companions such that victory is impossible, thus dying in a blaze of glory.
2. To intentionally enter into an encounter either alone or with companions such that victory is impossible, thus dying in a blaze of glory.

Example:  We’re feeling pugnacious, so Tigerfeet and I are totally going to e-man Kael’thas tonight!  It will be glorious!

Because yes, I had to look it up the first time I stumbled across The Pugnacious Priest.

Inclined to fight; combative; quarrelsome.

Example: I have noticed a direct correlation between the number of times we’ve wiped on a boss and how pugnacious the raid is.  It’s like a stacking debuff.
