At 4:24 this afternoon, in the heart of Netherstorm… Fergy entered the wide world of LEVEL SEVENTYISM!

It was a long couple of days, but I made it! And I’ve already managed to max out my tailoring, craft an entire Primal Mooncloth set and respec to holy!  I am determined not to be a ersatz healer!

I MUST thank a few key people that helped me – Teiya and Stangz for helping me finish some nasty group quests, Fooli for drudging through all the Mastery quests with me, Dublin for helping me aquire a few much-needed Pirmal Lifes, for Koukou, Tharaks and Tharina for donating their Primal Mooncloth cooldowns, and most of all…

BOOSTAH!  For scaring me into finally getting my booty to 70!  And also, for giving me a CRAPLOAD of Netherweave and Primals.  If it weren’t for him, I’d probably still be level 66 hanging out somewhere between Terrokar and Nagrand.

What a busy weekend!

  1. Congrats!

  2. When I saw that *ahem* in gchat… WOOOOO! Just give me another 7 or 8 months or so and I’ll get my lock up there with Ferg.

  3. Congrats! Can’t wait til I get up to 70. Also, thanks for the advice on the banner. While I’ve never tried much shadow-leveling, spirit tap was nice, when I had it. But it doesn’t activate unless you get the kill I believe, so it rarely helps out when I’m running instances. I plan on going very deep into the holy tree, most likely to grab CoH. There are a few talents which will change back and forth, such as the one reducing the cost of instant spells vs. a few of the holy talents. But from discipline, I definitely want to hit meditation, silent resolve, and inner focus. What is your current build?

  4. Thanks everyone! Now I can finally post about what it’s like to be a real holy priest! 🙂

bremere: I’ve got a link to my Armoury profile on the side, you can check out my spec there!

  5. Not bad, that looks fairly similar to what I will end up doing. You had mentioned that you started up a character alliance side on Dark Iron, what level is it?
